I am a former DreamWorks Animation surfacing artist whose background in animation informs my ceramic practice through storytelling, movement, surface, and time.

Trained in Fine Arts at Florida State University with a BA in Constructive Design and MFA in Metals, I create sculptural vessel forms inspired by ancient pottery and natural containers. After leaving animation, I began integrating digital tools—3D modeling and 3D-printed textures—with traditional clay processes.

My work is influenced by the Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi and uses wood and soda firing, where ash, flame, and kiln placement shape each surface. The resulting vessels read as artifacts from an imagined, alien civilization—objects formed by unknown rituals and technologies, blurring the line between architecture, container, and relic.
